Job Opportunity : Human Resources Specialist (Part-Time)

Location : Emeryville, California

Education : Bachelor or Master's degree in HR Management, Organizational or Social Psychology, or equivalent.

Experience : Minimum 5 years in similar roles.

Reporting : Directly to the People’s Vice President.

General Description :

Join our team as a Human Resources Specialist to execute our People’s agenda in alignment with our strategic objectives. Your role will involve providing technical, administrative, and procedural support to our Business and Operation teams while ensuring compliance with local regulations and fostering an organizational climate of transparency and growth.

Main Accountabilities :

  • Ensure labor compliance in France.
  • Manage payroll and benefits processes.
  • Oversee on-boarding and off-boarding procedures.
  • Collaborate with global HR teams on organizational processes.
  • Support People Management Processes including recruitment, performance management, and training.
  • Design and participate in organizational climate activities.
  • Act as the focal point for employee relations and Health & Safety coordination.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in HR Management, Organizational / Social Psychology, or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in transformative organizational environments.
  • Knowledge and experience in the Energy Sector with offshore operations is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 platform and HR database systems’ management.

Additional Requirements :

  • Mission, Vision, and Values driven.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English; knowledge of French, Spanish, Portuguese, Korean, Chinese, and / or Japanese is a plus.
  • Creative problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach.
  • Willingness to travel abroad when required.

Experience working with Paychex Payroll software
